10 Events You Shouldn’t Miss this November

Tech Nav is proud to be based in East Tennessee. We love this area, and enjoy attending events held by other businesses and by our community this fall. There’s always something fun to do, and we want to share that with you!
 
 
Below is a list of some great events happening in the area. Be sure to check them out before they’re over!
When: Saturday, November 10th from 1 PM til 4 PM
Where: Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, 6221 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919
What It’s All About: This event is to raise donations for veterans needing service dogs. The fun includes underwater treadmill and service dog demonstrations, face painting, a teddy bear repair station, and more. Help a veteran in need, and check out this event!
When: Every Friday night from 6 PM – 10 PM
Where: Cool Cat Billiards and Cafe, 5210 C Schubert Road, Knoxville, TN 37912
What It’s All About: If you love playing pool, you’ll want to check this out! A $5 entry fee gets you into a billiards tournament at this fantastic cafe. They also have some delicious food, and are family friendly!
When: Thursday, November 15th from 6 PM til 8 PM
Where: Barley’s Maryville, 128 W. Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801
What It’s All About: Hosted by the Sky City Initiative, this event allows potential business owners to sit down with successful entrepreneurs from the Tennessee area to ask questions and get advice on their own start-ups. Have a drink, and take a seat at this free event!
When: Friday, November 16th from 10 AM til 2 PM
Where: Cinnaholic, 9450 S. Northshore Drive #106, Knoxville, TN 37922
What It’s All About: Enjoying cinnamon buns is practically a national pastime, so if you love the bun, check out Cinnaholic’s grand opening! Cinnamon buns for only $1, and be sure to visit their Facebook page so you can enter to win a free dozen of cinnamon rolls!

What It’s All About: Enjoy a delicious hot breakfast of pancakes and sides while helping a great cause! Maryville Kiwanis supports families and children in our community and beyond. Just $5!
When: Sunday, November 18th from 11 AM til 6 PM
Where: The Mill & Mine, 227 West Depot Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917
What It’s All About: The holidays are rolling in, so this craft fair is perfect for finding homemade goods for your Christmas list! Over 40 vendors are attending, selling everything from food, adult beverages, boutique items and more. Admission is free, so get your shopping list ready!
When: November 21st – 25th
Where: Knoxville Conventions Center, 701 Henley Street, Knoxville, TN 37902
What It’s All About: Any Knoxvillian already knows about this one, but no list of events is complete without it! Benefitting the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, this beautiful event will have over 350 Christmas trees for viewing amongst the vendors selling everything from jewelry to sweets. And don’t forget your coupon book – it’ll save you a dollar off admission!
When: Begins November 23, ends December 31, 2018
Where: Downtown Knoxville
What It’s All About: There are so many events for this we can’t include them all, but Christmas in Knoxville is always a great time! Celebrate the best events of the season including the lighting of the Christmas tree in Market Square, the opening day of an open-air ice skating rink, the WIVK Christmas parade, and even the ball dropping at midnight on New Years!
When: Thursday, November 29th from 6:30 PM til 8 PM
Where: Blount County Courthouse 316 S Everett High Rd., Maryville, TN 37804
What It’s All About: The Blount County Courthouse lawn will be illuminated by live Christmas trees of all sizes, colors, and themes. This unique month-long event allows the community to enjoy the festival by driving by or walking through for a closer look. The Festival opening will take place on the Courthouse lawn and will include entertainment, refreshments and visits with Santa Claus.
